For its inaugural exhibition, Battat Contemporary is pleased to present the work of Montreal artist Sophie Jodoin. The exhibition entitled Headgames: hoods, helmets & gasmasks is comprised of 75 drawings and a projected video that Sophie Jodoin created in collaboration with David Jhave Johnston.

The exhibition is accompanied by a hardcover publication entitled Sophie Jodoin: War Series, which is for sale at Battat Contemporary. The publication is a compilation of Jodoin’s larger War Series, and features a text and interview by Border Crossings magazine’s Robert Enright in conversation with Sophie Jodoin.
